It is the time of new sneakers. Mark it now, March 2026. It has been at least 10 years since I've bought a new pair of sneakers. I've made some serious progress on this thing over the past couple days. Securing the neck/pocket to the body has proven extremely tricky but I think it will be playable after some quick tweaking and a bit of reassembly. The action is unfortunately too high and I'll have to remedy it by installing a neck shim. On the other hand, the makeshift resonator has worked out impressively well & it rings beautifully if I happen to strike an open string. I'll go into more detail about
