It is the time of new sneakers. Mark it now, March 2026. It has been at least 10 years since I've bought a new pair of sneakers. All my current sneakers, while loved (many were my nan's), were given to me. I want to cover some new ground in some new shoes. But how should the shoes be? Their vibe? I need sturdy, strong shoe capability. Long lasting, ready for a muddy hike and downtown walking and a trail run, for when I become a runner... I wont stop trying, despite hating run

Panjo Update #1
I've made some serious progress on this thing over the past couple days. Securing the neck/pocket to the body has proven extremely tricky but I think it will be playable after some quick tweaking and a bit of reassembly. The action is unfortunately too high and I'll have to remedy it by installing a neck shim. On the other hand, the makeshift resonator has worked out impressively well & it rings beautifully if I happen to strike an open string. I'll go into more detail about

The Ol' RG (Except It's New)
Seeing as I just made a guitar-related post, I figured I'd show off my RG as well. When I was probably 13 years old, I bought my first guitar. I'd already owned a cheap Peavey Raptor which was gifted to me a few years prior, but the first time I actually bought a guitar I lusted over it was an Ibanez RG with a mahogany finish.
