Clean Coffee, 2019

This was an experiment at rug hooking using an old burlap coffee bag from the coffee shop Brewed in Corner Brook, some found wool, and naturally dyed wool and silk. While making this I definitely gave into the feeling of this burlap being consumed by other life after being thrown away. Certainly not a technically sound piece as far as rug hooking goes, but I appreciate the growth it took on and the feeling of making something using materials that would have otherwise gone in the garbage.
